Seattle Police Find Headcams Uncomfortable

Seattle Police has been trialling various types of worn surveillance cameras for the past few months. One camera they tried was a headcam, which used to be popular in the UK before chest mounted cameras overtook them.

Seattle Weekly reported in September that officers found headcams very uncomfortable to wear on patrol, particularly for officers who wear glasses. They also commented that the cameras they trialled did not come with efficient management software to store data.
