WSPA.com reports that Anderson Police, South Carolina, have asked the City Council to fund body cameras for their police officers. This is following recent events that CCTV cameras failed to record.
Gun shots were fired during a family gathering and a police car was vandalised recently, but neither were caught by city park CCTV cameras. Now the police force wants CCTV cameras with rotating heads and body cameras for police to wear on patrol.
