Manchester Evening News reports on adoption of CARMACAM RS2
Manchester Evening News reports on adoption of CARMACAM RS2

The Failsworth and Hollinwood district partnership have bought 6 of our clip-on cameras for police to wear while patrolling at night. They hope to reduce the amount of anti-social behaviour and crime in Failsworth caused by underage drinking. The officers wearing our cameras will record footage of the underage drinkers and show it to their parents in the hope that this will deter the youngsters. The very presence of the cameras has been proven to turn away potentially anti-social people.

This is a part of a joint operation with Oldham council, Positive Steps, Tesco Failsworth, Street Pastors and Failsworth School. Our Body-Worn Video Solution will be a great asset and put local residents' minds at ease. In addition to buying our cameras, the police force will join with Positive Steps Youth workers to talk to the young people of Failsworth and educate them about the effects of excessive drinking.
